What is the Garden Project?

The Garden Project is a gardening initiative provided to child care centers contracted with FP Assistance. We aim to provide simple garden solutions and USDA approved educational resources to exemplify the farm to table experience to young children and to encourage them to “Choose Fresh First”.
Who Can Participate in The Garden Project?

Only Child Care Centers contracted with FP Assistance are eligible to participate in our garden initiative.
What do Participating sites receive?
Each of our participating sites receives a recycled wood pallet Garden, Garden Tools, Seeds, Transplants, and Curriculum. Our Garden Project team will provide tips and educational resources while helping each site plan and place their new Garden.
