The Garden Project
The Garden Project is a specialized gardening initiative designed to help child care centers bring farm-to-table concepts to life. Through simple garden solutions and USDA-approved educational resources, we encourage children to "Choose Fresh First" while developing a lifelong appreciation for nutritious, whole foods.
Who Can Participate?
The Garden Project is an ancillary add-on service exclusive to child care centers already contracted with FP Assistance. It is not a standalone service available to the general public, but a specialized support tool for our existing partners.
What Centers Receive
Participating child care centers are equipped for success with a recycled wood pallet garden, tools, seeds, and transplants. You also receive an educational curriculum and expert tips from our team to help plan and place your garden efficiently.
Why It Matters
The Garden Project enhances FP Assistance’s core CACFP sponsorship services. While we provide admin training and child care center visits, this initiative reinforces our commitment to hands-on nutrition education and community support.
