"Sponsor Of the USDA National Food Program for over 20 years!"

"FP Assistance’s mission is to reduce hunger and obesity among children in Texas and to be a leader in nutrition education.  Understanding that there is a clear link between childhood hunger, childhood obesity, and poverty, we work with groups which interact with and care for low-income children the most, child care centers and after-school programs (sites).  FP Assistance sponsors these sites on the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).  Through the CACFP, FP Assistance"

Provides financial assistance to non-for-profit and low-income child care and after school sites in the State of Texas.

Trains the staff and children about NUTRITION and the connection between childhood hunger, childhood obesity and poverty.
